We created The Unit Vehicle Storage as a full-service storage facility meaning we can care for every aspect of your car all in one place!
MAINTENANCE WASH
Our Maintenance Wash service ensures every vehicle remains spotless and protected while in storage. Using safe-wash techniques and premium products, our team carefully cleans and maintains all exterior surfaces, ideal for classic cars, specialist finishes, and modern paint systems.
Whether included as part of your storage package or booked as an ad-hoc service, the Maintenance Wash keeps your vehicle in peak condition, ready for collection or display at any time.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Contact us during business hours to book a collection or
drop-off using our designated handover bay. Weekends are
by appointment only.
2. If you are collecting your vehicle, our team will position it
in the bay with the battery charged and ready for you.
3. On arrival, a member of The Unit team will meet you to
hand over keys and complete a quick condition check.
4. You can then drive away and enjoy your vehicle, whether
for a weekend drive, an event or a trip.
5. If you are dropping off your vehicle, arrive at the bay,
secure the vehicle, and hand over the keys to our team.
6. We will inspect the vehicle, valet if required, and return it
to its allocated storage space.
7. If you need transport to or from the facility, ‘The Pick Up
Panda’ our mark 1 Panda can be arranged as part of your
booking.
8. You will be invoiced monthly in arrears for your reserved space, transportation & valets with the flexibility to swap vehicles at anytime.

Our meticulous 10-stage pre-storage process guarantees that every detail is covered, providing peace of mind to our clients by thoroughly assessing and preparing their vehicles for storage.
1. Arrive at drop off bay
Drop off your vehicle at our dedicated bay for a smooth handover.
3. Fluid & Battery Checks
Inspect essential fluids & full battery check included in condition report.
5. Air Drying
Following our careful wash process we allow each vehicle to breath without a cover applied for 24hrs before being tucked up.
7. Drip Tray Beneath
Position a drip tray beneath the car to capture any potential leaks.
9. Car Cover Applied
Apply a tailored car cover for added protection.
2. Carefully Washed
Thoroughly clean the exterior to ensure your car is spotless.
4. Tyre Pressures Increased
Inflate tyres to optimal pressures for long-term storage.
6. Brakes Applied
Following the 24hr drying period the brakes are applied to remove any wash 'flash rust'.
8. Battery Conditioner
Connect the vehicle to a battery conditioner to maintain charge
10. Condition Report To Client
Provide a detailed condition report to ensure peace of mind.
